Since there is no recipe in teaching languages, I would prefer to vary the sources to prepare lessons. However, if there is textbook imposed by a given institution, I would definitely comply with that.

I worked as a teacher of Standard and Moroccan Arabic to French-speaking as well English speaking university students for 4 years.
