My Name is Nicolas. I am 31 years old and currently residing in Tokyo.

Having taught English, French, German and Spanish for more than 10 years, I have decided to come to Japan to learn Japanese with a Work and Travel Visa and am currently seeking opportunities to give back my enthusiasm for languages to others.

I majored in linguistics and wrote my graduation paper on bilingual Code-Switching and Universal Grammar which gave me a very useful insight on language acquisition. But more important than that, is that I can make learning a language fun, as I am a cheerful person.

My students can expect profound linguistic knowledge and a great time from me.

I usually use my own sheets that I made over the years. I usually find textbooks not flexible enough to meet my students needs. When in single lesson I adapt my teaching methods an materials to my student, which I cannot do with a rigid textbook.

Growing up bilingual, I have been tutoring in some sort since I was 12.
Later I taught at High School from 2006-2010 and as a freelance teacher from 2011-2015.
