Learning a new language is often challenging but I believe it should also be enjoyable. This is the only way to ensure you keep motivated in improving your language abilities.

I believe it is important to tailor one's approach to the individual needs of the student. It is therefore very important to establish a relationship of trust and mutual respect between teacher and student to ensure smooth communication.

In order to keep motivated, I find that it helps to pick a topic of conversation that is of particular interest to the student, for instance a hobby or a preparation for a foreign trip.
