Bonjour! Je suis un enseignant professionel et enthousiatse (Français, Anglais, Sciences) avec une solide formation académique (Doctorat). Nous orienterons les cours sur les sujets qui vous interressent vraiment.

Hello! I am a professional and enthusiastic teacher (French, English, Sciences). I will adapt the lessons to any material of your choice and orientate discussions towards your centers of interest. The key to learning is not the method, it is the material. If you like the subject of the lesson, you will improve much faster.

Mar. 2010 Aug. 2011Grade 6 sciences and grades 8 to 12 biology teacher (IGCSE and IB) at Saint Maur International School, Yokohama, Japan. Supervised a grade 12 Extended Essay Biology student. Ran a weekly science club for elementary school students (grades 4 and 5) and an Aikido club for staff and students.

Sept. 2008 Mar. 2010Founded my own web design company, Kaze Designs to finance the latest stage of my PhD degree. Created over 10 Content Management System-based websites for individuals, associations and businesses. Performed extensive Search Engine Optimisation and advertising through social networks.

Jan. 2005 Jun. 2009Member of the board of directors of the Dublin Aikikai. Founded and managed my own Aikido school in Dublin city centre and organised several events, including the biggest Aikido course ever to take place in Ireland (over 140 practitioners).

Jan. 2005 Jun. 2009Postgraduate researcher at School of Biology and Environmental Science, UCD, Ireland. Supervisor for several final year BSc project students. Site Administrator for the Undergraduate Research Experience and Knowledge Award (UREKA) program. Organised the scientific placement of 10 international students and liaison with the various departments. Gave seminars at several international scientific conferences, most notably in San Diego (USA) and Quebec (Canada). Recipient of the Zahir Eyal Student Award at the American Phytopathological Society’s annual meeting in San Diego.

2006 2008Editor-in-chief of Aikidoka Magazine, the biggest web-based magazine about Aikido published in French language (over 30 000 unique visitors per month). Coordinated a team of over 30 corresponding authors. Established networks with major Aikido organisations all over the world. Wrote numerous articles that were published in major websites such as AikidoJournal.com or GaijinPot.com.

Aug. 2002 Aug. 2003Researcher at Rothamsted Research, United Kingdom. Translated 10 scientific abstracts from English to French for presentation at the International Meeting for Research in Sugar Beet (IIRB) in San Antonio 2003.
